Drafted Dawgs

1st Round, Pick 19 - Monroe Freeling, Carolina Panthers

Freeling was a huge recruit out of high school and showed his talent in Athens. He was by far the Dawgs’ best offensive lineman last season at the tackle position. Once he declared for the draft, he skyrocketed up boards and became the only Dawg taken in the first round.

2nd Round, Pick 42 - Christen Miller, New Orleans Saints

Miller could have easily entered last year’s draft, but he decided to return for one more season and made it count on the D-line. He earned AP First Team All-SEC with 23 tackles and four tackles for loss. The Saints added a strong piece to their defense.

2nd Round, Pick 53 - CJ Allen, Indianapolis Colts

Allen was a leader for the Dawgs for two straight years and will go down as one of the best linebackers in UGA history. The season he had last year was incredible. He was a First Team All-American and a Butkus Award finalist. Allen started 30 games and only missed one due to injury. The Colts got a steal in the second round.

3rd Round, Pick 73 - Oscar Delp, New Orleans Saints

Once again, another Georgia tight end heads to the pros, and Delp should help a struggling Saints team. He didn’t put up huge stats in 2025, but he took a big step forward as a blocker, which boosted his draft stock. The Saints are making smart decisions by picking Dawgs.

3rd Round, Pick 79 - Zachariah Branch, Atlanta Falcons

Branch only played one season with the Dawgs, but he was one of the most explosive players under Coach Smart. He was the best player on the offense last year and seemed to make a big play every game. Some off-the-field issues caused him to fall a bit in the draft, but the Falcons got an instant-impact player.

3rd Round, Pick 85 - Daylen Everette, Pittsburgh Steelers

Similar to Miller, Everette could have entered last year’s draft but chose to return for another season in Athens. He struggled early in his career, but over the last two years he developed into one of the best corners in the SEC. The Steelers needed youth in the secondary and picked up a potential lockdown corner.

4th Round, Pick 140 - Colbie Young, Cincinnati Bengals

Young didn’t see the field much in Athens, but when he did, he made plays against opposing defenses. In 2024 he dealt with off-the-field issues, and last season was cut short due to injury. His time in Athens did not go as planned, but he could still build a strong career in Cincinnati. Maybe he can become the next AJ Green.

6th Round, Pick 207 - Micah Morris, Philadelphia Eagles

It is no surprise the Eagles drafted another Georgia player, selecting guard Micah Morris. He started all 14 games last season and played a big role in the run game. Morris slipped down the draft board a bit, so the Eagles may have found a steal here.
